Puking Zoos??????

I recently acquired some new zoos. I had some free floating in the bag and fraged others more than two weeks ago. I attached the free zoos to a rock using fishing line and everything was doing fine. Tank parameters are great, everything is normal.

Yesterday I noticed something strange. Some of the zoos (2) that used to be free floating had something hanging off them. Upon further inspection I found that they had some black stuff hanging out of their centers. It was part of them, not a pest of some sort. I figured they were dieing or something. Today I woke up and inspected them and to my surprise everything is back to normal.

Anybody have any idea what is going on? Everything else looks great and a day later they do too. Ever have this happen to you?

Two of the white blue and rust zoos on the left were puking yesterday and this is what they look like today.

yep that is what it sounds like to me as well. What kind of lights where they under before and what are they under now? I wouldn't be worried at all about this. Ben

Thanks for the help!!!!

I think the store has them under VHO Actinics, no 10,000K. I have one group under T5s and another (The pukers) under PCs. I would have thought the ones under the T5s would be adjusting to the light, but I also didn't know what they were doing.

I have seen this with different zoanthids in my own tank on several occasions. The ones that did that were in my tank for some time and I assumed that they were expelling waste.
So I thought they were pooping not puking. :)
