pulse start?

How can I tell if my dual 175w PFO magnetic ballasts are pulse start or not?

The ballast should have a part/model number on it.

AQ2-175MH-120V is a standard metal halide (ANSI M57) ballast.

AQ2-175PS-120V is a pulse start metal halide (ANSI M137/M152) ballast.
