Pulsing/waving hand Xenia

I'm confused by the naming of pulsing and waving hand Xenia. Some people refer to the short stemmed polyp as waving hand, while others refer to it as pulsing. It's seemed to me that the long stem, longer tentacle polyp appear to be more of a waving motion.

I only have the short stem polyps that definately pulse. They open and close constantly all day. When I bought them they were called pulsing xenia and it makes sense to me.

I have some short and some long and they both pulse.

I have some short tentacled Xenia and it definitely pulses, opening and closing like a hand. I also have some with long tentacles and they wave in the water current.
