Pulsing Xenia

I got a Zoa frag a few months ago with a tiny Xenia on it, today its taking over the rock and overtaking the Zoas. It already spread to the main rock work in my tank which for now is ok.

How do I control the growth over the Zoa's, Can i cut it and replant it elsewhere? Can I just prune it?

Can someone walk me though this?

Xenia is very easy to frag but if you are trying to get rid of it its very difficult. If you are just wanting to move more around your tank just cut its stalk and glue it to the new spot. If you leave even a small peice where you cut it will grow back. If you are looking to kill it then cut as low as you can and then take some glue / eposy and completely cover whats left.
