pump advice needed

I am setting up an OM squirt in a closed loop configuration on a 100g tank. However I am not sure what pump I should use. I have been looking at the Pentair Quiet One 4000. The pump will be outside of the stand, and that is my main reason for considering this pump. Has anyone had any problems with the Pentair pumps? Does anyone have any advice on what pump would be best in this application?

I want to stay around the 1000 GPH rating of the OM squirt. If I go over 1000 GPH I will have to plumb in a bypass to divert the extra water.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How much head loss is there? I like sequence pumps and they just came out with a new one called the Snapper. Low watts,quiet(at least most sequence are) but more flow then your looking for.

I am expecting a maximum of 18 inches of head loss.
