Pump Cable help?

SALT WATER CRAZ

New member
Ok I just got my pumps back from being fixed, and one of my pumps where the wire goes in to the pump where the rubber groment is vary lose on the wire. (I can see the wires that go to the motor it is so streached out) This conserns me sence if I even have a wet hand, and I drop one drop of water in the pump it might go down the wire, and fry it. Come on its not like these are cheap pumps there $440.00 a peice. So what do I do now spend more monny shipping it back for the 3 time this year, and not have the pump for my tank for a groment?

What kind of spacer is that never saw one like that.

There isnt a spacer, you dont run a spacer on 3/4"

( you are seeing the gasket that goes between the spacer and the tank.)

Ok it has been 20 days, and still EcoTech Marine, or Ice Cap has not replied to my problem with my pump. After I recived it back from having it serviced.....

When I got my pump back from service the groment on the pump looked like it was pulled with a pair of pliers and streached out. I can see the wires in side the groment it looks realy bad...

I am shocked that Ice Cap Service would send me a pump back this way... But my qwestion is what are you going to do to make this right???????????????

I dont think I should have to pay to ship again, and have down time for something that should have not happened in the first place... The pump groment was not this way when I shipped it to service. And the pump should not have been shipped back to me this way....

My hat is off to EcoTeck & Ice Cap. This was taken care of. All I need to do now is find a way to print the the shipping lable. (I dont have a printer right now.)

Thanks
