I am going to attempt to make a DIY refugium out of a new Aqua C phospate reactor. I have a Red Sea Max 130D on a stand that is 31" high. I would like to place the reactor on the floor and have the tubing go into the back compartment of the tank. I need to know what pump would be most effective to accomplish this. Would head pressure even matter if the pump is in the back chamber and pushing water to the floor and then back to the back chamber? I am going to attempt to find a small LED light that I can mount to the outside of the reactor chamber to light some chaeto. Anyone see any problems with this approach? Thanks.
