pump for jbj ato suggestions

glad it worked for you ;-) its a good combo. I have a 5 gal bucket with a hole drilled in the lid for the tubing for a resivoir. Once I hear the gurgling nose I refill and reset the float and forget about it lol

agrr! It stopped working last night. I didn't have time to find out what the issue is. I can't imagine anything clogged the line. I'll update when I figure it out. I could shoot myself. I had all the stuff needed to set up the ato for months and am leaving for the Cooks for 2 weeks next Friday. Horay for procrastination!

couple things I've run into. Make sure the line going into or out of the aqualifter isn't crpimped. Had that happen once.

Also, make sure the line going into your top off reservoir isn't floating, I ran into that when I set mine up heh.

Oh also, anything floating up and holding the float switch closed. Had a heater come out of it's mount and got stuck right under the float switch heh

Thanks for the follow up Mekanic. It is working again... we got 2 days straight with no issues. Not sure what the issue was, which is what makes me a little nervous. I just pulled the draw line and sensor 2 out of the reservoir, dropped bith back in, restarted and have had no issues. The draw line is attached to a short pvc pipe to act as a weight so that it doesn't float. Hopefully it has worked all the kinks out and all will be good.

Thanks for all your help!

The max level sensor 1 should be just a couple mm higher than senser 2 min level or the pump wont be able to run long enough before the ato will shut down.Taking lid off and increasing run time and setting sensers at right height will solve your problem.
