Pump for Sump Help!

Can someone help me please. I'm looking to change out my pump in my sump. I want to run my pellet reactor, calcium reactor and return all off one pump and need help sizing a new pump. I'll be using ball valves for the reactors.

My Tank is 120g and sump is 40g breeder. Right now I run a mag 9.5 with SQWD for the return and it works fine. I'll be adding a new pellet reactor into my system but instead of putting another pump in the sump I was thinking of swapping out the main return pump and teeing off to go to the other reactors. make sense?

Can someone recommend a new pump for the job or is it really better to run separate pumps?

I would recommend a new pump. Have it take water as close to the incoming water as you can. Eject into the skimmer intake and have the skimmer feed the return. Or best you can.

If you share the pump only some of the water going into the reactor will be dirty. Some will have been cleaned on the last cycle.

Wait and see what others say, but that is my $0.02.

I agree with "fishman". Use a seperate pump for skimmer, reactors, etc. and return that pump back to sump. Circulation pumps for return only.

Water Blaster pumps rule!

Stig.
