Pump problems

I was doing a water change and all of a sudden my pump lost suction so I turned it off and restarted it and it is not getting its suction back. Anyone had this happen to them before? The pump is running, but it is not feeding the water back up to the display. Also the pump is a Gen-x inline.

Also, I guess if I need to get a new pump, where would be the best place to get one? I would like to get it tomorrow if possible.

I would unplug it and take it apart, check the impeller, maybe take it out and put it back in, then try it again.

As for where to get a pump tomorrow, I would call around and see who has the pump you want and how much they want for it. Maybe someone has something they want to sell you at the frag swap?

Also,check to make sure you don't have an air-lock. I've had that before, I just plugged it in an out a few times and it cleared it.

I've tried turning it off and on and it hasn't worked. In the past that has always worked right away which makes me think that there is something else causing the problem.

I took the pump apart and found the problem. Somehow a snail shell got into the impeller and was jammed in there so it couldn't turn. Got it all hooked back up now and we are up and running again. Thanks for the help guys.
