pump question for yall

I'm using an ocean runner 3500 return pump which is 900gph at 65watts. I have external Pan world 70watts at 1260 gph. My question is ,does an external pump give off less heat to the water that an internal. I know water does have to flow thru the external.

Which gives off less heat, summer is coming here in Florida. Thanks

Depends on the pumps involved, there are some very efficient submersible pumps that give off less heat than an external. With my 180 I originally had an Iwaki 100RLT and it kept the water nice and warm no need for a heater
