Pump question please.....

I need a pump that is smaller than a MaxiJet900....but has at least the same flow (a little more would be nice) and power (read heat) requirements. Anyone have a recommendation?

You could go with a Seio M620. It is a bit longer, but length is the same, and the height is less. I am not sure if you want twice the flow though.

Seio M620 8W 620gph/2400lph 5.5" L x 2.165" W x 2.6" H

MP900 8.5W 230gph/870lph 3.5" L x 2" W x 3.25" H

Entropy: That Seio puts out quite a punch for 8W! My problem is I am limited to 3.5" wide, but maybe the pump could be oriented by putting it in the chamber lenghtwise. I would need the intake on the bottom, and the output on the top for it to work this way. I'm going to go try and find a pic of it.....thanks.

The Seio can be mounted in pretty much any direction. With the flow collar you can cut the flow down if it turns out to be too much. Here is a link at MD...

Try a tunze 6025, they are new and quite smaller. And SWEET

Those are pretty sweet looking. I know they are about 3 inches in diameter, but how thick are they (front to back)? I like the included magnet as well. $60 is kind of steep for a powerhead though.

Its a Tunze though it'll last forever. I have seen them I would say three inches or somewhere in that range.

They do a great job moving the water and you can aim them very easily.
