Pump question

Who services pumps locally? I have a little giant 4mdq-sc...
or how do I do it?

Are you talking about taking it apart and cleaning it? I've never had a little giant but I've taken apart a few sequence and mag pumps for a good cleaning.

what's wrong with it? to clean it just undo the bolts take apart the housing, clean it out and put it back together.

Well, I just haven't cleaned it or oiled it because of my stupidity (must drain tank) of not putting quck disconnects around it. So I figured it needs a servicing to keep it in good running order. I will take it apart at the end of april and if I have any questions I will post it then. Thanks for the responses.

take it apart, clean it but when you put those back together, make sure you do not over tighten the screws. they are known to strip out. If they do, let me know and I will bring some inserts to the meeting to correct them. as far as oil, make sure you use a good high quality electric motor oil. I burned mine up that way. good luck

there are two oil ports on the top of the pump you can add oilo anytime it does not ned to be taken apart to do that.
