Pump Selection for 36x36x18

Hey Roger,
We have talked about this a long time ago but things have changed. I was trying to create a gyre in this tank, but the rock work has changed. Now, that's not as important. I cant decide if (2) 6095's will be enough or spend the extra money on 6105's. They will be run off an apex. And I plan on alternating flow, then having both on for a random surge effect. So left for 5 minutes, right for 5 minutes, then both for 5 minutes. If 6095's will do the job and do it well, I have no issues with them. I just don't want to regret not spending the money and getting the right pump for the job. On the same token, I don't want to spend more than I need too. This will be a mixed reef (someday) with most mid upper rocks having SPS and lower/sandbed with LPS.

Two 6095s will give you plenty of flow. The only reason I can see to go with 6105s would be if you planned to upgrade to a larger tank in the near future.
