Pump Selection or Plumbing Help

I'm getting things together for my drilled 20H w/overflow. Keeping with the 3 to 5 times turnover rate for my return pump, I'm looking at @ 100 gph. The closest I could find is the Mag 1.9. That will give me @ 140 gph with a 3-4 foot head loss. However there are no threads on the pump's discharge. How do I plumb it for a 3/4" return? Or is there a better choice pump with a threaded discharge? I don't want to go with a larger pump because my tank is drilled for a CL also. Thanks for the help.

I'd go with the 2 or 3 in a magdrive; you have to connect to a 1/2'' by 3/4'' piece, but then the extra diameter will reduce pressure through the pipe and the elbows.

You'll also need a ball valve attached for when you wish to conduct maintenance and need to remove the pump.
The ball valve can also be adjusted or partially closed to reduce the flow should it be too much.

Quiet One makes a 1200 and an 800 model that might be what you're looking for. Another option might be to just use a MJ1200 as your return pump...

herostar. If I use the MJ1200, I'll be in the same boat as the Mag 1.9. The discharge is not threaded and I'm not sure how to transition to 3/4" vinyl tubing. I'll take a look at the Quiet One pumps.

The mag 2 & 3 are both threaded for 1/2''.
Connect the FPT and then add a 3/4-1/2'' reducer (flipped of course), next is your ball valve and then the 3/4'' tubing up to an elbow and into your bulkhead.
