Pump to match Overflow, is this one overkill?

I am in the process of adding a 10g fuge to my 20H system. I bought a CPR 600 GPH overflow off Ebay, now I am trying to find a pump for it. Is it true that I will need to get a pump that matches the over flow rate (ex. 600gph pump with 600gph Overflow)? The pump will be in the fuge about 3 1/2' below the rim of the main tank.
Also, are QuietOne any good or should I go for a Mag?
