Thanks everyone. Hers (the little one) is the boxer Chevy (my puppy) Is an american bull dog. He loves that little bugger. Mess with him and you get to play with the big puppy. lol :D

Thanks again to everyone who either PM'd/emailed/called us to help with little Marley. He is coming around pretty nicely, we just need to master that potty training still lol. If anyone has any other suggestions for potty training, I would greatly appreciate them. So far I have been telling him "NO bad dog" when he goes in the house, then send his butt outside. When he goes outside I tell him "GOOD BOY" and give him a treat. He wasnt too bad yesterday (thats when I started with the treats) but he still has accidents, which I know will happen....but any other tips will be taken!! Thanks again.

Its always a good idea if you catch him in the act pick him up while he is pooing in the house and put him outside to finish the job, once he finishes the job outside, give him lots of love and a treat.

usually when they're puppies, take 'em out every 3 hours or so. I found the bigger dogs much easier to train than the little ones. Our golden retriever was trained in 2 weeks. Our two small ones took about a year!

lol sorry my fingers got away with me! but a year?? I really hope it doesnt take that long. I know I take him out more than every hour...everytime he walks up to the sliding glass (whether he needs to go potty or not) I take him out...I dont want to miss that one time that he DOES need to go.
We really dont have that much of a problem with "pooping", its more of the peeing. I really think he knows WHERE to go, it just depends if he WANTS to or not! LOL

well, the little dogs are little. When I say little, I mean, 4lbs each. Small dogs are notorious for being stubborn. LOL.

Our golden though. I was shocked. 2 weeks and he was trained. That and we had to watch the door, because when was AT the door, he had to go NOW, no waiting, lol. Otherwise, we'd have a big puddle on the tile.

I used to have a Maltese. She was dumber than a stump. She took over a year to potty train. My Ridgeback/Pit mix was trained in 3 days using a training crate.

Marley really didnt like the water much, but he was a good sport. Yes, its a dog beach at Fort Desoto...they have an area mapped out where the dogs can run off leash and stretch their legs :)
Only because he is so cute, here are a few more that make you go ooh and ahh!! lol
