Sorry to hear that. I've heard you need to house mantis shrimp in their own tank. How big is it?

I would take him to fishpros or jofish and see if you can get a credit on him. They will destroy everything in your tank in a short period.

I planned on getting him his own tank I've kept nothing but damsels in there since I got him 3 months ago...i was hoping since the clownfish is part of the damsel family it might work I also have 1 clown left that I think smartend up...He's small right now I'll post a pic...The hard part of getting rid of him is that he has punched a maze thru an 11 lb rock that he never comes out of until he's hungry

Hey Steve he does grab a damsel every few weeks...he's demolished my cuc...He going to be in his own tank one day I guess that big rock will just have to go with him...

I'd pull the rock and get a baster or something and flush him out then put the rock back in the tank. No cuc might start causing you some issues in a mixed reef.

There are still a few snails in there and replenish them as they get killed off...He loves raw shrimp but he's too smart for a fish trap so yea my only way would to be get that rock out of there...i really want to keep him but I've been lagging on setting up my next tank that will be a frag tank...just need a circulation pump now and I'm setting that up

just algae's and such... I feed pretty dang heavy so I'm of the mind set of having a large cuc to help offset it. Some will argue that point, but it works for me. I have at least 30-40 different snails which is low cause my hermits have killed a lot since I didn't have extra shells, and at least 20 hermits in my 60g, and will be adding more as time goes by.

After I move everything into a 40B I just got I'm thinking of converting my cube into a mantis tank, the girlfriend wants a clown/RBTA tank, but clowns can't smash things at 335,000 ft/s.

One of my favorite animals for sure.
