yeah its $5 i added it to my cart to see....

when are you going to get it? are the ebay ones new? whats the link?

the ebay ones are nib and just go to ebay and type in sequence dart, there are only 3 or so for sale and only one of them is 190. that 190 has 2 left

I am not sure when I was going to get it bc I still have to buff out the tank. :( and I was going to order the buffering powder maybe today or tomorrow and try buffering out next week. :)
hopefully I can do it on a ladder while the tank is on the stand

I still have to buy a power drill and buffing pad

but tonight I am going to patch up the closed loop holes in my sump and then tomorrow I am going to fill it and cycle the sump so I can eventually take down my 90g. I am going to put the fish in the 100g sump until the 210g is finished.

I think the blue ones are using the Baldor motors you can also tell by the fins on the motor housing. Spazz on the DIY forums mentioned the Baldor motor pumps were easier to make a needle wheel pump out of it compared to the newer motors on the Dart pumps.

No why would you want to do that. The tank is not the skimmer.
Do you want micro bubbles?? Or just good flow??
Is your 90 for sell?? Any pics of it??

I am going to be using the pump for a closed loop, Is it a good idea to to make is a needle wheel pump?

Only if you are going to make a skimmer. You still have to modify the impeller to make it a needle wheel. Sequence is coming out with a needle wheel version out soon.

I was under the impression that the dart pumps are mainly used for closed loops, even as advertised on their own website. Which is why I did not understand the needle wheel comment. (I thought that it would create tons of microbubbles.)

My 90 will eventually be for sale. I just have to cycle my sump so I can throw in my fish from my 90g and then break the 90g down.
the tank includes a oak stand and canopy.

I will post some pics tonight.

I think the Marine Depot picture of the Dart is wrong and outdated. The one pictured is the Baldor motor but the one they sell is the Hubbel motor. If you read from the Marine Depot site it says

"The Dartâ"žÂ¢ is the quietest pump on the market. Ideal applications for this unit are aquariums 100- 200 gallons. The Dartâ"žÂ¢ is great for close loop reef systems requiring high turnover. This unit is rated for moderately low head pressure and a maximum flow rate of 3600gph, shut off head of 12 feet and a maximum wattage of 160/ 1.4 amps. Our low speed, 1/8 HP Hubbel® motors have extremely low heat transfers.
