Hey Reefers,
Has anybody had there anemone pureed in there tank? Had mine pureed this weekend and needless to say, all my fish of course died!! Yellow tang, diamond goby and my newly flame angel. Guess who the only survivor is? Yup, my maroon clown. Now it's time to get to work. This is my plan. I have already did a 30 % water change, cleaned my filters( which I will do daily) and I have turned up my protein skimmer to get out any crap out. I also put in a carbon media sock in to absorb the toxins. Great improvement from yesterday. Water was extremely cloudy( Like milk) and day two has cleared up nicely but still a little cloudy. I will be doing another water change in a couple of days. What do you all suggest as far as how often I should be doing water changes. I'm I on the right track as far as what I'm doing and how long before my tank will be safe again to add fish. Ammonia are at 0, Nitrites 0 and nitrates are 5PPM. Your help is appreciated.

Sounds like you have everything under control. I'd do daily water changes until the water clears. 30% is aggressive, so keep that in mind. If things don't look stressed, back down to 10-20% water changes. After about 5 water changes,
You'll have replaced all the water (30% is a good number, by change 5, you've replaced about 95% of the original water)

Awesome bobbravo2! By the way I have 30 gal nano. Water is clearing up nicely. I'll probably wait about a month before I add new fish. You all think that would be enough time? Given that my parameters stay in check.

I agree looks like your doing fine.

When you start putting new fish in please pick fish for the size tank, no tangs and flame angels should actually be in a bigger tank also.

Also get some covers for your powerheads so this doesnt happen again

Good luck
