Purereef - a great LFS in Alpharetta GA

While traveling to Alpharetta Georgia, (a suburb of Atlanta) I had a chance to visit a LFS named Purereef. This store was very clean, had a huge variety of marine fish and corals, tanks, custom stands and dry goods. They had a 2 large display tanks, one fish only and one large reef (containing a variety of LPS and SPS) huge chalices, and everything looked extremely healthy. I have never seen such a large number and variety of show size fish and corals in one LFS. The owner was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. When I told him I was visiting from out of town he allowed me to look around the store for an additional 30 minutes after the store closed. IMHO this store is phenomenal, a must see, if you are in the Atlanta area. :thumbsup:

I have family in Alpharetta and also stopped by there great place very friendly staff. Ended up buying a 2ft brown banded bamboo shark. They helped me tremendously by getting me everything I needed to make the trip home with it

I too saw livestock that I wanted to purchase from them but I was concerned that I would not be able to take them on the airplane ride home. Take a look at the photos on their website http://www.purereef.net. Their store and display tank looked great.
