Don't put two tangs that are the same body shape in the same tank. Second your tank is too small for the swimming room tangs need.

I personally think this is a myth, provided you are meeting the fish's needs in terms of swimming room, food, etc. Like I mentioned, I have a yellow and a purple, and I know of a number of other tanks with that combination, or other similar ones.

I know I'm the rookie around here but I disagree with you on that one.
The way I look at it, in nature these guys have several hundred thousands of gallons of water and several square miles of room to swim. The best we can offer is a 6 foot glass box. How would we make out if we had to live in a box about the size of our bathroom?
Then again we do have people living like that... We call them prisoners :uzi:
