Purple carpet moved to area with low light

I purchased a beautiful large purple carpet. It is doing great and is eating. For the first week it stayed in the corner where I put it. Now it has buried its foot under a rock which I hear is normal. I have only about 1/2 inch of sand. However, the area it has moved to is in the shadows of my live rock. It looks great but I am concerned that it will not get enough light. My tank is a 120 gallon with 2 175 watt halides and 440 watts of VHO.

Sorry - I don't have an answer for you - but my dream tank will be comprised around a large purple carpet one day. Do you mind sharing pictures?!

Is there anyway you could relocate the rock that is blocking the light without disturbing the anemone?
