Purple death paly size

I recently got a nice frag of purple deaths with over 50 polyps and when I got them in the mail they seemed really small to me more zoa sized in my opinion are they supposed to be small? It's always hard to tell from pics.

Dime sized average if really happy and up slightly bigge than dime.

I've had them for years and always been small for a paly. Less than half the size of my big nuclear greens.

Mine are just barely bigger than my zoas. When you keep them in less light they get bigger IME.

Thanks guys I'll move them lower in the tank and see how they do.

Majority of my PD's were larger than majority of my Nucs.. they were acclimated properly to the 8T5s and were moved up finally during that pic 3/4ths up the tank (tank surface). PD's were still coloring up.

Mine have gotton to almost a quarter size! All depends where you keep them in the tank. Mine like it down low, Moderate flow

my pd's are way tiny but they keep multiplying.
there prob small because they're under 150w 10ks and pcs.

My PD are about a dime size also, they grow like weeds.

I started with 3 heads back in February and now have too many to count. Last time I counted was a couple months ago and there were over 25.

Mine were pretty small too, before a zoa eating crab made off with them. Still trying to catch the little SOB.
