Purple death placement

I was just wondering what the best placement would be for a frag of purple death I just received. They are kind of brown/burgandy with bright purple centers. I am wondering if they are brown do to too much or too little light. I have a 75 gallon tank with two 175w halides. Thank you in advance or any help.

Thanks for the the responses. I am assuming nuclear greens would about the same right? Also I have heard of some people feed them. Just wondering if this is something that needs to be done or not. Sorry I am asking so may questions, I just want to make that I am doing everything I can for them.

My Nuc Greens are actually higher up than my PDs and they do just fine. Feeding them I assume just helps grow faster but isn't a requirement
