Purple Firefish

I've had my firefish for almost a week now. Its doing very well too! Anyways, i've heard that these species are known to jump out of the tank. I have a 24gal nano cube and i often leave the lid up to keep temps down... Does anyone have any genus ways that i could leave the lid open and not risk the fish jumping out? I plan on eventually fixng the temp issue...don't know what i want to do about it yet though.

I had a 26 aquapod for awhile and kept a purple firefish in it. What I did was wedge a chopsick between the little 'feeder' flip and and main cover to allow heat to exit. I never had a problem with heat after that. My cube that I keep my firefish in now doesn't have any short of cover and he never comes close to the top, just comes out of the live rock to eat.

egg crate works fine but ive heard a couple off stories of the firefish slipping through the hlds, maybe eggcrate with mesh above it?
