Just Reefin'
So thought it would be good to post an updated video of our two gigs... Just click on the picture and it should take you to youtube..
The purple was bought first week on February 2nd completely bleached, and almost translucent. It's gained a LOT of its color back, and is huge, probably 10-12" during the day.. Here's a video of the flow it is getting, and the color it has gained back. Looking really good, and still getting fed almost daily with selcon soaked food.
Purple Gigantea
The green was bought on March 22nd, so we have had it in our system for a little over a month... Tentacles are getting longer, and for the first time yesterday I noticed it wasn't so rigid anymore and was moving and changing shape with the flow now, so think we are have to a milestone. I can now see shag constantly where as before it was just certain times of the day. It took this guy a LONG time to acclimate to captivity, but seems to be doing just fine now, and has gone from 2.5" when first brought home to 6" now. Being fed everyday with selcon soaked food. Anyone who has seen this green from first day into the tank when it was so haddoni like to this shag, it's really come a LONG way in a short period of time.
Green Gigantea
I am very happy to say neither of these two beauties have seen cipro, and hopefully they never need to, but always have some on hand just in case.
