Totally off the wall thinking but can't help wonder if some collector found a small group of purples...LFS had one last time I stopped by two weeks ago. Deep plum shade of purple too! So awesome, about 10" or 12", healthy, beautiful and close to half the $$$ of that one on DD!
Too bad my current tank is only a 40B and already housing a healthy S. gigantea or I'd have snapped it up:facepalm:

I haven't seen much purple ones around. I have a small green and blue. I see red often but always huge. Thanks Akida for the find. I've been following that one too. But way too expensive.

I saw that purple haddoni, nice grab mOnkie!

I could've waited one more day shoot haha. I grabbed the purple ritteri on Wednesday. Just got in. LA used 15bags, solid shipping job. I have had a spot waiting for this mag for a long time though.

**Side note while unbarring I noticed I had stow away! Appears there was a clarkii hiding in the magnifica when they bagged it. Keep your eyes peeled!

I've been pondering of getting a mag. I have room higher up in my tank. I've been looking but all I'm finding are the brown base yellow ones which aren't bad but I was hoping for something with more color or a colored base. Anyone know any repuatable stores with healthy ones?

Yes I think so. Wrt fish, he has had trouble with DOA shipments and fish not lasting long after arrival. Has a refund policy for most items. If I were to get the purple haddoni, I'd drive up from Philly for it. Two guys in my local club went to him and made out well.

Wrt, the purple S. haddoni, I would ask if the photo is of the anemone for sale wysiwyg or just a stock photo of some other purple haddoni. If the latter, I'd request current pix, and inquire on it's condition, i.e., healthy closed mouth, attached, sticky, eating, etc. I'd trust his word on it, I don't think he is looking to make a fast buck and the he2xhockey-sticks with you.

So i asked DD why my nem is not purple and much bigger than picture descried.

Good to see their customer service hasn't changed since Petco bought out F&S.

Okay, just so I'm understanding this correctly... they did send you the red one on accident like we thought, but they are letting you keep it, and they are also sending the purple one to you?

WOW. You need to buy a lottery ticket.
