I just purchased a purple haddoni that i'll be recieving tonight.

Curious how many others there are out there. I have had my red for a long while and it seems that purple was a LOT harder to find. If anyone has pics of theirs please post them.

Thanks
Matt

I've had my purple monster for a long time. I almost purchased a red haddoni I saw online but I just do not have the room.

This is a my purple haddoni that has not stopped growing yet. It is in my 4' long 120.

I was told its going to be around 14+ but i'm guessing it will be more around 20" but its going in the 240 so im not to worried about size. I've had a couple reds but the one i currently have is only about 8-10" when fully happy. I just figured they were more rare since i just don't see many. Doni, yours looks amazing as it always has.

She took up a full quarter of an ELOS system 70, so I bet I could have stretched her to 20" ;)

WOW Chris, picked her up tonight and when i was acclimating i finally got to see what you meant by "its big"!

But, after thinking long and hard i decided that instead of it going in the 240 i put it in my 24 x 24 x 15 which houses my red (which hosts the single Latz i got from you), and now the purple. So all that is in this tank are the two nems and the single clown. I have to say i'm extremely happy i went this route. The two in there together look amazing. And it seems that even when fully inflated they will both have plenty of room to by happy. If not i have alternative tanks, but i hope they will manage in here. Just waiting for it to manage its way through the sandbed and attach its foot and we're good to go.

Thanks again, now i just need another Latz to pair up with my lone survivor. :)

Doni:

Lets see another picture of the Purple Haddoni with the pair of clowns hosting in it Please!

Sure. This was taken a year ago (May 2008) and shows the true color of the anemone. Lighting is dual SE 250 MH with Reeflux 10k bulbs and two T5 actinics.

Thanks, i'd love to see it put the back of its foot down but i think it'll just need a few days. It may be pushing the limits of this tank though, but if i can keep it happy in there then its staying...

You are definetly right too tough to keep happy. I'll let you decide if you want to keep the red or the purp, then i'll take shipment of the other :)

...no but seriously

Very nice! Do your caprets bother the clams?

Haven't touched them at all, but i don't want to find out.... :)
