Purple Hornet lighting question

Greetings,
I got 1 polyp yesterday and I was wondering where should I place the sucker? I been told zoa's like bright lights. Please advise! I don't wanna bleach it out. I'm running 8 t-5s. the seller had MH

Always start all the way in the bottom to prevent lightshock and bleaching the hell out of them.

good in-direct flow and not directly battering them. Then slowly move them up several inches at a time as time goes on.

I keep mine at the top of the tank close to the lights.They are doing great.Good luck!

I think my magicians are getting too much light. The sparkling part of it is getting to be solid in the middle. Time to move it down. It's in the 3/4 from the top of the tank.. ah.

t5s for me do the job

if they were under MH and your moving them to T5's you should start them out relatively close to the top to mimic where they were.
