zoadude

Are they that rare? I have been trying to find some info on their growth/care/etc. and can not find a thing in search.
They have been around for what now, a year at least?
Who has PH and if so can you post some pics, growth rates, etc.
To get something started I will post what I know, at least what I think I know...
They have been slow goring for me, approx. 2 polyps a month and should increase as polyp count increases. . They appear to be zoanthus sp. as they have never accepted feedings of particulate foods offered.
Lighting requirements seem to favor the high intensities.
Baby polyps take average 2 weeks to fully open to full blown polyp.

Also I am setting up a dosing system with marine snow or something similar, amount I do not know yet, possibly a couple ml per day, dosed thoughout a 24hr period.
Would appreciate info on other easy to obtain filter feed foods.

I believe their zoanthids IMO.
You are right. All colonial sea anemones are zoanthids. There are different kinds of zoanthids. There are palythoas, zoanthus, protopalythoas, parazoanthus and a couple others that, besides the yellow polyps, we don't often see in the hobby.
Also there are the snake polyps (?), and the stick polyps (acrozoanthus).
