Purple Lobster Missing

I got a Purple Lobster on Tuesday, I put him in the tank and have not seen him since, is this normal, I have tangs and Puffer, is he edible, oh IU also have pistol shrimp, and anenomes, he was good sized not small, I'd say medium sized, I do have lots of rock, hopefully he is just shy in the new tank, but I am fearing the worse

Purple lobsters are nocturnal. You will very rarely see them during the day.

I figured that was the reason, I will get up one of these nights and see if he is still here

Yes that is what I heard, hopefully they are too big for him, my Anemone just kicked the busket though could he have caused this, everything eles in the tank is fine, and I still have not seen him

We have one and he has a specific cave he hangs out in. If we get down level with the sand bed and look under the rocks/caves, we can almost always see him.
