Purple "Long Tenacle" Anemone - Scentific Name

typically there are a few purple-ish 'long tenacle' anemones that comes in from exporter's list marked as "purple malu".

Sometimes, some of these are actually M.doreensis (corkscrew anemone) as suppose to H.malu.

Typically H.malu are quite small and does not grow too large and with very short tenacles (going off the top of my memory - not sure if this is right).

Can you guys take a look at this and tell me what exactly is this kind? I am pretty sure it's not M.doreensis since tenacles are not curly at all and does not seem to be sand dwelling.

Definitely not M. dorensis.... I can't make a definitive call but looks like H. mag..

Does not look like malu either IMO..

I agree; purple magnifica. A local shop was getting some in just like that a few months ago. They sold too fast for me to get one unfortunately, but the owner is trying to get some more in so that I can nab one. My palms have been itching for one ever since I saw a sold one in his tanks. :D

yeah it's a mag, I asked the LFS for their exporter's list, I don't realize mag come in purple (or I probably forgot).

This thing is sitting on the top of the side of the tank enjoying the flow & light, so it's definitely not anything else.

Looks like magnifica to me too. I've never seen one so purple.

it's probably the lighting they use, it's 20K MH I think. But it's taken on my HTC MyTouch 4G phone camera without any photo editing.
