Purple Monti Cap Question

I just picked up a purple monti cap frag this weekend. I have monti's in lots of different positions in my display tank. I'm curious what the consensus is on a purple monti cap holding its color 24" under a 250W Radium 20K MH.

IME they seem to hold a purple color better under intense light. They brown out for me when they are in the shade.

Thanks for that. I will begin moving it up after a few days then. It was under LED's and intensely purple down about 18" at the LFS. I have MH's. I was hoping to keep it about 24" down out of 30" (but directly under my Lumenarc Elite reflectors) similar to where you have your red monti cap. While I don't have any PAR numbers, I do know my reflectors create somewhat of a hotspot directly underneath. However, your plasma lighting is lighting is likely way more intense than my 20k MH's. If you've only been successful keeping a purple cap up high, then I'm going to need to move mine up.
