purple Montipora

Does anyone here have a purple Montipora? I am looking at buying one from the lfs but am unsure which species it is and how it will grow. I do not think it is a cap I think it is a digi or what ever that is. It is about 1/8" thick bright purple with lots of polyups extended on it. Sorry I don't have a picture of it. If you own one will you post a pic of it. Once I can identify what it is I would like to know growth rates, addatives, food etc.
Thanks,
Brad

Sounds like a Digi. Not too demanding just good overall sps conditions. Excellent choice for beginners sps. Pretty too.

heres mine:
this was taken over a month ago after about 4 months of growth from a "large" frag - the purple on mine tends to be masked by the brown polyps

Shookbrad, a few months ago several hit the LA area. I was at Fragfarmer and he had a few. I bought one, and it is stunning. Solid deep purple with even darker purple polyps. I haven't seen many more since then - too bad, its really beautiful. I joked with the guy at FF (Eric was outta town, we called him on his cell) that it looked like a Potato Chip stuck in dip. Mine loves high light/high flow.

jaefei,
The first pic is it only mine is a much deaper purple like Fliger is describing.
Fliger do you know what species it is? How fast it grows, etc.

The LFS has one more if anyone is interested in it I will take some pics of it and send you their phone number.

I got mine last week at a lfs, but i have seen them at another lfs that was selling them as superman's for $220. I didnt' buy one there.

Found an old pic, much bigger now. Definitely the same coral. Mine has really deepened in color, its really cool looking. Growth has been decent, he got stung by a bubble coral, burned a 1cm hole in the middle that healed over in less than a week.
