purple rock

My tank is one year and all rock is getting purple cover ,water levels are good
I'm thinking everything is ok? any thoughts . Thanks

your fine. coralline algae is what it is. most people dream about having purple covered rocks.

Check your lights' expiration date. Many mh start going 'off' when they reach 6-8 months, actinic at about 6. Do a routine test of anything you haven't tested in a while, like nitrate/ammonia. It can start building up on you.

I agree the growth of corraline is usually a good sign that your water parameters and tank conditions are excellent and stable

I corraline covers the rock then other nuisance algae can't

Some people even dose chemicals to get more coralline algae (purple stuff) in their tank. That means your doing a good job.
