purple string coming out of zoanthids?

Lastnight, i saw it on my palys,
today in one of my zoos...

anyone ever see this?

notice also how it wrapped around the head of the zoo on top?

More than likely it is just relieving itself... Nothing to worry about my zoos do it all the time...

thats the LFS.
I think they just got them in from the philipines.

my zos poop all teh time, but ive never seen it like that.

LOL. It is waste and zooxanthellae that is being released. It happens often when Zoanthids are stressed. Shouldn't be an issue.
But that is one big Turd!!!!
