Purple Tang is faded! Need help!

I need some help guys. My Purple Tang is all faded! My Yellow tang has great coloring, and both are eating great and get along very well. In fact I've had both for over a year now. The LFS told me I'm not feeding the right stuff and Purples will lose their coloring if not givin the right food. Is this correct? I feed the tank nori and brine shrimp plus, often times I supplement the nori with garlic. Like I said, the Yellow has great coloring.
What is the Best food for Purple Tangs? Or Tangs in general?

I think variety is the key. You may want to try adding some different flake and other frozen foods to their diet.

Anybody feed Formula 2? What about blood worms?

I never feed the same thing on consecutive days. Sometimes flake A, sometimes B, or pellats, or frozen.... I also use all three colors of nori and alternate. I think variety is key.
