Purple Tang?

I have had mine for 2 weeks.. he is swimming buddies with the moorish idol and a scribbled angel...there was some tail wagging when i put the scribbled in but not much and lasted only a few seconds each time and was done and overwith in less than a day and all 3 fish are between 4 and 5 inches they are in with a
11-12 inch orbic batfish and i have no issues in the 200g 7ft tank

I have two in a 150 gallon. They have divided the tank in half and so long as they stay on their own side they are fine, but if one crosses the line a fight ensues.

I have male and female tomato clown with a blenny, a flame angel along with a very timid firefish who have all been in my 125 gallon for almost two years

Any thoughts about this combo?

I have one, they can be a bully to other fish you add to your tank, it is best to add this tang as one of your last fish additions

I agree they can be bullies and you should only have one in a tank, but I love them. I had to have two.

I have one and I love it. It's actually the peacemaker-- it intervenes when other fish have disputes and actually protects some of the smaller fish when they are getting bullied.

I would expect a Purple Tang would fit in nicely.
