Looks purple based on lighting. Who knows what it looks like IRL.

I have never seen or heard of purple torch, but that does not mean it does not exist. My torch looks similar but is tan and I am not sure that the photo is not photoshoppped or the lighting set to give the appearance of purple.

I have seen a lot of photoshopped photos and exagerated discriptions of corals. And all corals will look different in different systems, different locations in the same system, and different lighting conditions.

If that is truly purple torch and you find some I would like some as well my torch is kind of bland looking and is in my frag tank removed from the displays to make room for nicer stuff.
