I'm not sure it really matters exactly which coral it is, I'll have to contact my LFS that I purchased it from to remember what it was. I'm new to the hobby, maybe 6 months in, and just purchased this coral. Its closest counterpart is a Toadstool Leather that sits about 5 inches away from it. I noticed today that the tree coral started to lean heavily and not look too good. Well I kept an eye on it for a while and nothing seems to be getting better. I have only a 36 gallon tank because I wanted to start small then work up to something bigger when I had more experience with the Salt World. I happened to notice a few minutes ago that there is a star like critter, a couple actually on some of his arms. They appear to have 6 arms each (hard to tell they are so small). My question is what is this and is it something I need to worry about? Is this whats affecting my coral so badly?
