Hey gang,
I have purple urchin that I got from SWF. He was listed as 'reef safe' and a good algea eater so I bought it. It is cool looking and my little reefers enjoy watching it BUT it eats too much coraline for my comfort. As you know, my tank is young and I bought LR with lots of coraline on it to get things going. The urchin is happy (muchin' on my coraline) and my rock looks like it was rubbed with a metal file in some areas.
This guy or gal is now hangin' out in a QT tank with another fish. Anyone have an environment JUST RIGHT for this guy/gal? I would like for him to have a happy home....just not in my tank. (Still trying to build my softie reef so would love to swap).
