Putting 2 tangs together

I have a Derjardini Sailfin tang that is about 3". I have someone that wants to give me a Kole Tang that is about 4-5". Would these 2 tangs get along in a 90 gallon tank? I know the tank is small for the Sailfin but that was my mother's day present from my husband so I couldn't say no. I am in the process of finding a larger tank. But for the time being would the 2 tangs get along?

Well my sailfin was bullying the Sohal i added a few weeks ago. I had to remove my sailfin. If the kole Tang is larger than the sailfin i think it's ok. it'll be some chasing around for a few days.

Sailfin won't stand for it IMHO

I have 9 different tangs in a 300g, they all get along but the sohal is a bully, havnt had any problems with them, at feeding times they are best friends. your sailfin should be fine at that size but when it gets better you should trade it for a smaller or upgrade your tank

If you are looking at upgrading your tank you should focus on that before cramming another tang in there. Just my opinion. Awesome mothers day gift though : )

If you can keep them separated in the same tank for a while, this will help them get used to one another.
