Hey I was wondering if it would be ok to add a pair of gold stripe maroon clown fish, when I have 2 false percula clown in my tank

I'm gonna say no. Maroons are very very aggressive, and I think you would be pushing it if you had two separate pairs of ocellaris pairs in a 50 gallon.

You need a minimum 60" tank for them to have separate territories....They will constantly fight and will get sick...thats a NO from me...

Not sure where you are getting this, for many of my pairs 8-10' is too small in my experience. Some breeders have pairs that wont breed when they can see clowns across the room.

Success is fleeting when mixing mature clowns, what works for a day, week, or year frequently ends without warning. A 50gal tank leaves little room for clowns to hide when it goes bad.

very agressive...

I have 3 Percs in my 220, all different sizes. Recently, I added a gs Maroon clown to host my two very large BTAs. The maroon was smaller than all the Percs but has grown fast. In the beginning , despite his smaller size, the maroon would have a stare-down with the percs and an occasional torn fin. Now, the maroon is larger than all the percs and only wants to host from one BTa to the other. The Percs dont go anywhere near the BTA and there is peace as they stay on seperate sides of the tank. I know the reputation of maroons and believe I am sitting on a powder keg. I would suspect that , at some point, the Maroon will just lose it one day and there will be blood shed. Tried introducing a smaller maroon last week but the existing Maroon went to war on him. Now I am just biting time before war begins> Both are gorgeous species a nd I don want to lose either.

Good luck, but hopeless in a 55

I would not consider adding maroons to your tank. If you want to try mixing pairs of clowns I would go for something much smaller and more peaceful like the pink skunks or something.
