putty question

I had some putty that was green / white center.... used it up.... my hubby got some dark colored putty w/ black in the middle at HomeDepot. It isn't as waterproof and sets much quicker....is this the wrong kind? If so, where in the store is it kept (the right kind) and what color is it? KR

Its called AQUA-MEND, green with white center. Its in the paint department at HD with all the other glues and stuff..

have you tried loctite gel glue they do better than puttys
