PVC glue/primer not on pvc

What effect would you think these chemicals would have on say a seio's mounting plastic and mag float 350? I'd like to mount the pump on that but not if I'm going to destroy a $25 magnet and mounting stuff.

If this isn't an option what kind of epoxy should I use? Can I just get it at the hardware store?

I would doubt it would affect the magnet. Maybe melt the plastic if it is thin or something?

it should not hurt them one bit. the glue dries so fast it should not be a problem. otherwise HD and Lowes have a plastic epoxy that dries in a matter of minutes or even seconds. i have used the epoxy on PVC leaks and it works great.

it wouldnt ruin it, but i dont think that is strong enough glue to hold on the pump, try super glue or epoxy. that would deffinitely hold.

You mean like this? Just use silicone.

Wouldn't hold. Use Silicone. Tank silicone like Perfecto or All Glass is much stronger than what you find at the local hardware store, however, GE siliconeII is reef safe.
