Im interested in making one of these for my 10 gallon plumbed into a 5 gallon. Does anyone here have any experience with one of these? Id love to get some info on them if anyone has ever made one and maybe even some help making one if possible. Thank guys

Yes I made one about 6 months ago and had some problems... and caused my first and only flood.
You can find many designs on forums but many have syphoning problems. (loose syphon)
mine tends to loose syphon when you have low flow. it does well with high flow.

hmm i found a link to one for sale that seemed pretty fail safe. Im not sure i wanna do it they sound kinda sketch in terms of flooding and poweroutages preventing the resiphon. Plus thats 5 more gallons of water id have to lug back and forth between pleasanton and rohnert park during the school year haha
