PVC problem.

I just hooked up my permanent plumbing for my 60 gallon reef, added a 40 gallon sump, and besides the water being terribly cloudy from the mineral mud, the pvc rig i made leaks.. there is about 1 drip every 5 seconds... if there anything I can do to fix this leak without taking it apart and siliconing it?

thanks for the help.

you can try to add more glue around the piece
but I would just replace it personally you don't want to worry about it

there isnt any glue on the pvc in the first place. Would superglue work, because you can gel corals to rocks under water, i woulder if it would hold leaky pvc.

try the epoxy that cures under water, your LFS should have it. Just cut a piece and mix like putty in your fingers and place on the leak.

Yeah I agree you need to prime and glue all non threaded pieces and on threaded pieces use liquid theflon or the telflon tape to hold a seal the way that you make make the pieces be able to be moved or changed is through unions or use tubing so you can umclampit and move whatever you want.
