pvc solvent

can i use the purple stuff and the gold can that goes with it, or is there a 'fish' specific pvc glue?

last thing i need to do is induce more danger in my tank...

Doesnt matter. Any pvc glue is safe after it cures.. If your using Standard pvc I would use the Green can.. Its Heavy Duty pvc glue. It seems to do the best.. If your using SpaFlex pvc then you need to use the Blue Can.. HTH
