Pyramid butterfly experiences?

im so psyched to get a couple of these when the new tank is up. would like to hear about your butterflies. what they eat, where they hide, and any probles that may come about. difficulty of the fish and so on. PLEASE tell me your experiences thanks :fun2:

These fish require a longish tank, but other than getting large and swimming, are no problem whatsoever. I have four in one tank with no issues.

Great fish for a reef tank. Had mine in a 150 reef with sps clams and a few lps. Never picked on anything and ate anything I fed. Energetic fish always out swimming the tank.

I kept two of them in my 180 for about a year. Even though I fed them several times per day, they still picked at my sps. They didn't cause any real harm but they irritated the corals and kept them from expanding their polyps. Other than that they were great fish.

I had one in a 90 and it was reef safe for about two days. After that it would wait until after I fed the tank and go after the feeders on my acans.

Was this because some food fell into the acans? IME thats what sometimes happens with planktivores when they're hungry and pursuing their food.

3 in my tank since it was 7d old....they nipped a bit before they settled in and now they only eat all food added:thumbsup:
